The best way to describe this book is to use the voice of its author. In his foreword Dafydd Gibbon gave the perfect description: „Polar temperatures spread towards the Tropics of Capricorn and Cancer, bringing ice and snow as the messengers of Winter, while tropical areas resist the spread, becoming drier and drier, warmer and warmer at these times of year. The "Purest White Mantle" collection reflects more polar experience: ice, snow, sometimes patterns reminiscent of those shiver-inducing lace diagrammes which the Jack Frost of my childhood used to draw on the inside of my bedroom window.” There is nearly nothing to add.
